This Privacy Policy describes how Singular to Six ("we," "us," or "our"), operated as a sole proprietorship in the United States, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform at singulartosix.com. By using Singular to Six you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information we collect and why
Account information
What we collect: Your full name, work email address, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your plain-text password). You may optionally provide your company name and job title.
Why we need it: Your name and email are required to create and identify your account, send you login confirmations, and contact you about billing or important service updates. Your password is needed to authenticate you securely each time you sign in.
Content you create
What we collect: The inputs you provide to our tools and the AI-generated outputs produced on your behalf (project charters, FMEA reports, sigma analyses, SIPOC maps, and value stream maps).
Why we need it: We pass your inputs to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate your outputs, then save both to your account so you can access your past projects at any time. Your content is never shared with other users or used to train AI models.
Usage information
What we collect: Basic usage data including which tools you use, when you use them, and how many projects you have run.
Why we need it: This helps us understand which features are most valuable so we can prioritize improvements. Usage data is analyzed in aggregate and anonymized — we are not profiling you individually or selling this information to anyone.
Communications
What we collect: If you contact us by email or submit your email for early access, we collect and store that email address and any message content you send us.
Why we need it: To respond to your questions, support requests, and feedback. Early access emails are used only to notify you when we are ready for your input — we will never send unsolicited marketing from this list.
2. AI and your data
Your data never trains AI models
Singular to Six uses Anthropic’s Claude API. By Anthropic’s default API policy, inputs sent via the API are not used to train or improve models. Your data and project outputs are never incorporated into any AI training dataset.
Each API call to Anthropic is completely independent. There is no mechanism by which your proprietary information could appear in outputs generated for any other user. Your intellectual property remains entirely confidential.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only with the trusted service providers necessary to operate the platform:

Database and authentication. SOC 2 Type II certified.
Anthropic
AI processing via Claude API. Does not train on API inputs.
Vercel
Hosting and deployment. Does not access your application data.
Stripe (coming soon)
Payment processing. We never store your payment card details.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
4. Data security

5. Data retention
We retain your account information and project data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account moves to read-only status and your data is retained for 90 days, after which it may be deleted.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@singulartosix.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Singular to Six is operated from the United States. If you are accessing our platform from the EU, EEA, or UK, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Our lawful basis for processing your data under GDPR: contract performance (to provide the services you signed up for), legitimate interests (improving the platform), and consent (for marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time).
Singular to Six uses minimal cookies and local storage necessary to operate the platform — primarily to maintain your authenticated session. We do not currently use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics services that track you across other websites.
9. Children’s privacy
Singular to Six is a professional platform intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at contact@singulartosix.com.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Singular to Six, operated as a sole proprietorship in the state of Georgia, United States. By creating an account or using our platform you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Singular to Six you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. If you are using Singular to Six on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Description of service
Singular to Six is an AI-powered process improvement platform providing five AI-powered tools: Project Charter Builder, FMEA Generator, SIPOC & Value Stream Mapper, Sigma Calculator, and Accountability Engine.
We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any significant changes that affect paid subscribers.
3. Account responsibilities

Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of your trial, your account automatically moves to read-only status. All your projects and outputs remain saved and viewable. Upgrade at any time to restore full access.
Monthly subscriptions
You may cancel at any time. When you cancel: your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period; you will not be charged for the next period; no refunds are issued for unused days in the current period.
Annual subscriptions
You may cancel at any time. When you cancel: your subscription remains active until the end of your annual term; you will not be auto-renewed; annual subscriptions are non-refundable — no refunds are issued for remaining months in the current annual term.
Price changes
We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase via email before the change takes effect.
5. Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform
Do not scrape or use automated tools to extract data from the platform
Do not use the platform to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
Do not resell or sublicense access to the platform without our written permission
6. AI-generated outputs
All outputs generated by Singular to Six are AI-generated decision-support tools intended to assist qualified professionals. Outputs should always be reviewed by a qualified professional before being acted upon. Singular to Six outputs do not constitute professional engineering advice, quality certification, regulatory compliance guidance, or legal advice.
You retain ownership of the outputs generated from your inputs. You are solely responsible for how you use or act upon those outputs.
7. Intellectual property
Our property: The Singular to Six platform, design, code, and branding are owned by Singular to Six.
Your property: You retain full ownership of all data you input and all outputs generated on your behalf.
License to operate: By submitting inputs, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that data solely to provide the service to you. This license ends when your account is closed.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Singular to Six and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Singular to Six and its owner from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your subscription continues until the end of your current billing period as described in Section 4.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the platform in a way that harms other users.
11. Changes to these terms
We will notify you by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

Security FAQ
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored in Supabase’s managed PostgreSQL database, hosted on AWS infrastructure. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified.
Who can see my data and process descriptions?
Only you. Row-level security ensures your data is only accessible by authenticated users in your account. Singular to Six staff do not have routine access to customer data.
Can my data appear in AI outputs for other users?
No. Anthropic’s API does not use API inputs to train models, and each API call is completely independent.
Do you have a data processing agreement (DPA) available?
Your account moves to read-only on cancellation. To request permanent deletion of all your data, contact us at contact@singulartosix.com.
Are you GDPR compliant?
We are working toward full GDPR compliance. We collect only data necessary to operate the service, provide data deletion on request, and do not sell personal data.
Found a security vulnerability?
We take all security reports seriously and respond within 48–72 hours. Please contact us directly rather than disclosing publicly.
